I’m Sh’nee Smith, a Certified Destination Wedding & Travel Specialist based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the founder of Blissfully Demure Journeys.
Before I became a destination wedding coordinator, I was a Nurse Practitioner. For years, I cared for patients, educated them on their treatment options, and advocated for their well-being. I loved the teaching part most, helping people understand their choices so they could make confident decisions.
That same determination drives me for my weddings. I had my own destination wedding and I learned firsthand how stressful destination wedding planning can be without the right support. I had a decorator, but no one to handle the logistics, vendor coordination, or guest management for our destination wedding. It was overwhelming.
That experience fueled my mission: to be the destination wedding planner I wish I'd had. So I don't just plan destination weddings… I educate, guide, and care for you like I did my patients.
